What happened after I became a victim of fraud

When I found out I was a victim of fraud, I was scared and had no idea what to do. Since I had the fraud protection program with the credit bureau, I called them, and this is what happened:

  1. They were US based and spoke clear English.
  2. They told me that my Id protection program has a  protection policy of $1,000,000 that kicks in and pays for the losses.
  3. They took the job of fixing everything and did all the work and I did not lift a finger.
  4. The end results were a clean credit report, safe and sound bank accounts, and investments.
